Welcome to my new forum. I'll be going over a detailed description of this forum in the About Us thread, but here is a short synopsis.
It is my belief that in our formative years, the books, movies, and records we are exposed to have a definitive impact on how we view ourselves, others, and the world. This is the place to share those items that so affected our world view, and to summarize why and how they influenced our personalities and viewpoints. I invite everyone to review each other's media in the hopes of creating a deeper understanding of each other. Comment with your thoughts about how the different pieces affected you, and together we can start a dialog about ourselves, each other, and human nature.
Since this project is so personal, I will only be opening it up to family and our close friends for now. If you are interested in being involved, let me know in the Shoutbox below and I'll set you up. This is a big project, one that I'm hoping will develop and evolve over time. We are all very busy people, so there are no time constraints here.
The ultimate goal here is learning more about inspiration, human nature, and what drives and motivates us. I look forward to hearing all of your thoughts.
